My name is Ocinschi-Gogalniceanu Carolina and I create graphic portraits, black and white or colour, based on a photography of yours. I believe this to be a good choice for an exquisite present, a good memory for your loved ones. This portrait could also complete and decorate your house interior, especially the black and white graphics that go with every color palette existing in your home. If your prefered style is classic or modern, black and white drawings are an extraordinary addition in completing the interior decor. Each of your loved ones will be happy to receive such a personalized present and be proud to have it and display it in their homes.
That is not an easy job... but I love doing it, and this is what matters... to put soul in one's work. I am not a photocopier machine and my work is not an exact copy but an artistic creation. The drawing process is amazing and the fact that I bring life to the blank paper gives me great satisfaction. Once I have the paper in front of me I get the overwhelming desire to create, and a state of mind that each graphic artist can understand...I look for the main features of the subject that will first start to emerge with each stroke of the pencil, through shades or charcoal tones accumulating the lightness and darkness of the character. It is a long process... while I try to reenact the state of spirit of the model in the picture and try to apply it on the paper in front of me. I start the composition on paper and search for the right proportions; once I have arranged that,
I start the modeling of the face. The pencil waltzes the fairy tale dance specific of each face - if he or she smiles and is full of happiness, the pencil stroke are lively and smooth - if the model is serious or sad, the drawing process is reflective of that, the strokes are harsh and have the heaviness of "lead".If you wish this drawing to be as a present for someone you love, please choose a good and clear photo of them.
